A standard session is 50 minutes.
Inclusive of initial, telehealth or face-to-face sessions.
Extended EMDR sessions
I also offer a 80-minute session for those who wish to have an extended session of EMDR reprocessing.
Privately billed: $240 per hour
Medicare subsidised - out of pocket cost:
$90.95 (upfront $240, with a rebate of $149.05) [2026]
Medicare - Mental Health Treatment Plan
If you are eligible under Medicare, you can consult with your GP about activating a 'Mental Health Treatment Plan' (MHTP). After which, the GP will then write you a referral letter to see the clinical psychologist, which means rebates can be claimed on sessions.
At present (2026), Medicare subsidises up to 10 sessions per calendar year, which is organised over 2 referrals (an initial 6 therapy sessions, and a follow up with the GP for a further 4).
